Avatar 3D movie- dizzyness, headaches and nausea

Sunday, March 21st, 2010

To combat against motion sickness while watching 3D movies, we ate a small amount of raw ginger beforehand and also brought some small slices of ginger in case the symptoms got worse.   Seems to work well, but be reminded that this wasn’t a large double blinded study,  so whether it works for anybody else is up for debate.  Other things that might work are ginger ale, ginger candy, and maybe Halls candy.   Drugs like Gravol should work, but they’re known to give other symptoms like headaches.

Ontario based company “Spatial View” seems to have a product that produces a 3d image on a screen without needing 3d glasses.   Looks promising.
